| The overall purpose of Building Healthy Communities is to help address gaps in the range of mental health services and activities related to crisis intervention and post-vention for First Nations "On-Reserve" communities. Over the past few years, a number of diverse processes have identified common, key concerns and gaps in mental health services for First Nation communities. A common concern identified was the development of improvement of the community capacity to address crises. The major gaps in this area were in crisis management, training and aftercare services. | |
