Wichiwaywin Program       

Cree Nation Tribal Health Centre Inc. Wichiwaywin Program is funded through First Nations & Inuit Health Branch.  The Wichiwaywin Program is mandated to:
teepee.gif (3556 bytes)  Provide crisis intervention mental health counselling benefits to all registered members of:
                              Chemawawin Cree Nation
                              Mosakahiken Cree Nation
                              Wuskwi Sipihk First Nation
                              Sapotaweyak Cree Nation
                              Grand Rapids First Nation
residing on and off reserve in the Swampy Cree Tribal Council catchment area.

       short-term basis, to address at-risk, crisis situations when such treatment is not available in their community.

The Wichiwaywin Program and the Swampy Cree Tribal Council Residential School Project provide programs and services that promote healing for individuals and communities whom may be experiencing negative effects of the residential school system.  The following are examples individuals/communities may be experiencing:

1.    Talk to your counsellor, if you are not satisfied, then...
2.    Talk to your Health Administrator, BFI/BHC Worker in your community...
